OTHER WORK EXPERIENCE

APPLAUSE INC.
Designer of consumer products ranging from coffee mugs and PVC figurines to limited edition sculptures. Licensors included The Walt Disney Co., Paramount Pictures, Hanna-Barbera, Marvel and Lucasfilm. Head designer for the second season of products with Lucasfilm. Responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of concept design final sculpture approval, visual presentation and presenting the season’s line-up of products to the Lucasfilm representatives.

CITY OF THOUSAND OAKS ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE (1981-1989)
Responsibilities included teaching art classes to children (ages 8-16 years).
Provided promotional art and layout for the various events put on by the Park District though out the year.
Designed sets for many of the local theatrical troops.
Adapted and directed a children’s production of “TOM SAWYER”.
Directed an adult production of “ORDINARY PEOPLE”

M J SCOOTER
Layout animation Saturday morning TV cartoons under the experienced guidance of Roy Wilson.
TV shows worked on include: SCOOBY-DOO, JUSTICE LEAGUE, SPIDERMAN, SMURFS, TROLLKINS and THE CHRISTMAS TREE TRAIN.

PROYOUTH HEART (2016-present)

Teaching storyboarding/animation to high school students after school. The students come up with their own story, and work in groups to produce an animated short which is submitted to the Slick Rock Student film festival.
Three of the four years in which we submitted our animated shorts received nominations. One student won in the Animation Category and Best Of Show. The following year he won the Animation category again.
